The Museo Vivo de Muro is in the Town Hall of Muro and was inaugurated at the beginning of 2003. The first presentation to the general public was not only the sample of a recently rehabilitated enclosure that harbored pieces that were used to produce oil. An abandoned method was revived for several decades back to produce this product.
In the exhibition, currently located in the municipal offices, all the elements are from a "almàssera de sang" characteristic of the late nineteenth century, owned by one of the great families of landowners of Muro. The exhibition is completed by other ethnological objects that are part of the museum collections that are currently owned.
